Booze Napkin MathPrivacy Policy
Short version: Booze Napkin Math keeps your numbers on your own device. We do not have accounts, and we do not use advertising trackers today. We also count visits to the website and app with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. The only thing you can send us is your email address, and only if you choose to sign up for updates.
What stays on your device
- Every number, setting and saved item you enter is stored on your device in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to us.
- If you add a logo to the PDF sell sheet, the logo stays on your device. The PDF is created on your device too.
- The app also saves its own files on your device so it can work offline.
To remove this data, clear the site data for this app in your browser settings, or delete the app from your Home Screen.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising trackers, no cookies and no profiles of individual visitors.
- No third-party scripts on this website or in the app, other than the Cloudflare Web Analytics script described below.
- We do not sell your information.
Website and app analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit this website and the app, which pages they open and which countries they visit from. It loads one small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com) and sends page-load timing and page-view counts to Cloudflare (cloudflareinsights.com). According to Cloudflare's documentation, it is privacy-first, does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not track individual people across websites. We do not use it to identify you. It never receives the numbers, logos or settings you enter in the calculator, which stay on your device.
Email signup (optional)
If you sign up for product updates on our website or in the app, the email address you enter is submitted through a form hosted by Netlify Forms. Netlify stores the submission for us, and we use your email address only to send you product updates about Booze Napkin Math, such as new calculators and tips. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. Signing up is optional and is not needed to use the app. The app does not keep your email address on your device after you submit it.
To unsubscribe or have your email address removed, email matthartsook@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, and we will delete it.
Hosting logs
Our website and app are served by a hosting provider (currently Netlify). Like most hosts, it may record technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not control or use these logs ourselves. See the host's own privacy policy for details.
Sponsor banners and links
The app can show a labeled sponsor banner. Tapping a banner opens the sponsor's website, which is a third-party site with its own privacy practices. We are not responsible for what those sites collect.
Changes if we add ads or other services
If we later add an ad network or any other service that collects data beyond the analytics described above, we will update this policy before it goes live and change the effective date above.
Children
Booze Napkin Math is a trade tool for adults 21 and older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
